After driving through our spectacular tunnel you can see the beautiful hills covered in grapevines and the road leading all the way down to Zavala. There you can take our own taxi boat to the island of Scedro, which offeres a modern version of a quiet family holiday.

The travellers guide to „Islands in the adriatic sea“ by the british author Charles Arnold has described the 200 most beautiful islands in the adriatic sea and he declared the croatian islands, next to a few greek islands, to oasis of peace and calm.

What is worth seeing in the area?
There are numerous beautiful villages and small towns on the island that you should not miss. The plains of Stari Grad „ager“ are protected by the UNESCO and are worth experiencing. In Stari Grad you can also find the fortress „Tvrdalj“, the house of the famous croatian renaissance poet Petar Hektorovic. In Hvar you can discover the oldest croatian theatre which has been built in 1612. Walk along the sea path from Jelsa to the fiord, where Vrboska can be found now. Experience the deserted mountain village of Humac and hike to the grotto „Grapcevina“, a rich neolithic site.
